The Palace Hotel is an historic grade II listed building full of character located in the heart of Manchester. It has recently had a major refurbishment to bring the rooms up to today's high four star standards. It is located close to a host of stylish and elegant bars, clubs and restaurants.

| 18.30 | Conference opening reception: Manchester Museum of Science and Industry Museum staff will demonstrate machines in the magnificent Power Hall built in 1855. See, smell and hear the largest collection of steam mill engines in the world and marvel at some of the finest locomotives ever made while networking with friends, colleagues and suppliers. Wine and light food will be served. NB Drinks and canapes will be served, those requiring a full meal are asked to make their own arrangements. |
